I worked with Attik interactive design agency in San Francisco to create wireframes for the digg.com redesign.
The design challenge
digg.com wanted to update several features, including a way to let visitors know that if they signed up, they could tailor the content they saw. They also wanted to reward members who had more influence.
The thought process
I collaborated with the interactive art director to come up with ways of highlighting the user's contributions, incorporating gamification and easy mechanisms of making their "expert" status known. In addition, I proposed various ways of allowing users to search and filter content by timestamp, popularity, category, etc. in a contextual way.
